We have had the pleasure of welcoming Nick into our home on a weekly basis for the last 2 years to teach our daughter the Acoustic Drums. Nick is enthusiastic, reliable, dynamic and a true master of the craft. He was able to engage with our daughter who was only six at the time on a fun yet professional level. She is now eight and still loves practicing every morning and playing to all her favourite Top 40 hits. We are all very proud of her ability and how quickly she has developed her skills under Nicks instruction. We would highly recommend Nick and we look forward to seeing how our daughter progresses even more over the coming years.

We cannot recommend Nick highly enough. He is a very talented drum teacher and we have been super impressed with the way he has taken our son Jack from zero to being able to play combinations on the drums within 1-2 months. Nick's style is is very enthusiastic and engaging so that Jack feels comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes (and hence learn). Nick tailors his approach to the student and sets homework practice to enable the student to progress at a rate that suits them. Nick is a passionate musician. He listens to what you need, picks up on every small adjustment that makes you a better drummer. He is also goal oriented so very easy to tell exactly what you are looking for. Done couple of classes and I feel I progressed a lot. A definitely recommend Nick to anyone serious about drum lessons.

After trying it on my own, it became clear to me that I needed a teacher if I wanted to be serious about learning the drums. After enquiring from a few people, I chose to go with Nick based on other reviews. I was a bit nervous before the first lesson but my nerves soon calmed when the lesson kicked off. Nick is very professional and proactive in each and every lesson. He tailors the lessons to suit you and what you want to get out of it/your long term goals. He explains everything very clearly, but I’m never afraid to ask any question if I still don’t understand.
Nick is great at picking up on any bad habits and tweaking them, ensuring your technique is spot on, and so that this does not affect your performance in the future.
I value each lesson with Nick, and I always feel pumped to go and practice my newly learned skills after. I see myself progress from each and lesson and am always excited about the next.

I highly recommend Nick. He teaches my 11yo son the drums and I can hear solid improvement every single lesson. I particularly like how he’s teaching my son to listen to music, hear the drum elements and then replicate them (not just teach from sheet music). He gets my son to choose the music he wants to play so has high engagement from him. Nick has always been very flexible when I need to move lesson times. And he’s a lovely guy. Definitely recommend him.

I stumbled upon Nick last year via a neighbour, he has now been teaching our 9 year old son for 4 months. Nick is a truely gift musician, has the patience of a saint, professional, exuberant and passionate about music and teaching. He has the ability to find strengths in each student allowing them to shine increasing their confidence weekly. Our son loves doing his drum homework so much he has been known to hit the drums as soon as he opens his eyes. I think the neighbours now wear ear plugs as no complaints about Sunday 7am concerts have happened yet. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone.

Highly recommend Nick. I started lessons for my two teenagers only to find I loved Nicks lessons too. He also teachers my niece and autistic nephew. Nicks lessons are both fun and dynamic. He structures the lessons for gradual improvement with lots of exercises to improve technique and so on. He challenges you to decode the drum sequences in music you like. He is a passionate professional drummer and it shows in his teaching.

I’ve been taking lessons from Nick for about six months and I have loved every minute - he is an amazing teacher, super encouraging, and the lessons are really well structured to ensure you are getting incrementally better each week. I’m always amazed at how much progress I’ve made! Nick has great taste in music, and makes sure you are putting what you learn into practice, by showing you how to play along with a different track at the end of each lesson. Basically, there is no downside to starting lessons with Nick - make the smart choice, people!

A friendly and adapted approach for cool drumming lessons, I learned a lot and made improvement in less than a month (once per week), he also have good references as teachers so don't hesitate, I strongly advise Nick to teach you the drums!

Nick is a trustworthy and reliable drum teacher. He has a very professional approach , is punctual and allows for flexibility. He is extremely patient and is genuinely interested in improving his students. My son really enjoys his drum lessons with Nick as he has made it fun . He is great as caters for a wide range of musical genres and is a pretty amazing drummer himself- gives the kids something to aspire to. Highly recommend Nick! My son absolutely loves learning the drums from him and looks forward to his lesson each week. Nick is a lovely guy - easygoing, knowledgeable and super patient too. He makes the lessons fun while still focusing on important technique and musicianship.
